Family says recent tragedy could have been prevented, calls for changes to bus routes
CBC NewsLucas McInnisThe death of a P.E.I. teenager late last month in a highway bus-stop incident is evoking trauma from decades past for an Island family who endured a similar fate on the same stretch of highway.
May 21 of this year, Isabella Bastardo Jiménez was struck by a tractor trailer along Route 2 near Dunstaffnage while crossing the highway to get on her school bus. She died days later.
