RCMP on Prince Edward Island are asking for the public's help in solving a series of suspicious fires in the western part of the province.

A news release from the force issued Wednesday said the first incident happened on June 24. Emergency crews responded to a fire at an abandoned house on Route 2 in New Annan at 2:30 p.m. that day.

Just a week later, on July 1 at 3 p.m., a second fire was reported at the same location.
