A 33-year-old Kings County man has died following a single-vehicle crash in eastern Prince Edward Island on Sunday morning.

Emergency crews were called to Route 4 in Alliston just before 7:30 a.m. according to P.E.I. RCMP spokesperson Scott Ferris. A local resident discovered the vehicle rolled over into a ditch near their property and alerted police, though they did not witness the crash itself.

The driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, died at the scene.
