Aquaculture company Amar Seafood's planned expansion of its fish farm operation in Victoria, P.E.I., is expected to finally break ground by this fall or spring next year.

The Norweigan company bought the former Halibut P.E.I. building in 2022 to hatch and grow wolffish and halibut, but said it needed to expand to make it viable.
