A woman from P.E.I.'s Queens County is dead after being found in the water near Brackley Beach on Monday night, according to RCMP.

Emergency crews responded to a report of a missing person whose vehicle was found in P.E.I. National Park at Brackley Beach at around 3:45 p.m.

The 51-year-old woman was found in the water by a Coast Guard helicopter just before 8 p.m. AT. She was brought to shore by a New London fire department boat and taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where she was pronounced dead…
