P.E.I. Drivers Are Causing Crashes By Being Too Nice

Charlottetown police are warning motorists about the dangers of stopping and waving other cars onto the roadway, which has resulted in several accidents recently.

CHARLOTTETOWN. P.E.I.—Police in Prince Edward Island are warning drivers to stop being so nice to each other, following several accidents caused by motorists trying to be kind.

Charlottetown Police Chief Paul Smith says there have been at least two accidents on the city’s busy University Avenue in the past week alone caused by one driver stopping and waving another onto the roadway.
