Parks Canada has issued a warning about surf conditions in P.E.I. National Park.

Winds on the North Shore are gusting up to 50 km/h, creating high surf conditions in the park.

People on North Shore beaches are advised to stay out of the water. Rip currents in high surf conditions can quickly carry swimmers away from shore.
