Hunter's Ale House

The guys from East of the Dial are taking their podcast live. On April 29 at Hunter’s Ale House, a showcase featuring Island bands will raise money for the podcast to relocate its studio above Hunter’s.

Big Tilda, Royal North, Dave Woodside and Bridgette Blanchard have volunteered their time to rock Hunter’s on that Friday night. The podcast has played songs by these acts and has had Blanchard, Woodside and members of the Royal North as guest hosts.

Nineteen episodes of the podcast have been released since it began in November 2015. Matt Clark, Joee Adams and Chris Pride are MBS employees working with Q93 and CFCY. They are the podcast creators and hosts.

They have recorded all episodes at the MBS building in downtown Charlottetown but Clark says it’s time to move to somewhere more suited for the podcast. “Sadly this project does come at a financial cost, MBS has been great to us with the use of their equipment and studio time. But with the direction we want to take the podcast, we felt a more venue-like appeal is better suited.”

The show will be a fundraiser for equipment they need to purchase from Long & McQuade for the new studio.
