For Charlottetown youth not able to go to the big top and watch a circus this summer, the Confederation Centre Public Library is offering the next best thing.
Circus tricks
The 1864 Circus — an art exhibit recently put on display — is an encased, diorama-type collection of miniature colourful statues performing circus tricks. Among the performers are clowns, dogs, cats, horses, trapeze artists, acrobats, animals jumping through fiery hoops and pigs in costumes.
